Check List for Developing Websites From Industry Experts



Developing websites for schools is not an easy task. There are many variables to consider i.e. how to communicate and what with. What will work and how will it work. Fortunately for those are inexperienced with developing school websites, we have provided you with a checklist from industry experts as to how to develop properly for school websites.


-Relevance. Everything that is on your website should be relevant. Whether it is a vibrant image or content; everything needs to be relevant and focused to three main groups-pupils, parents and staff.

-Eye catching. An eye-catching website can sway the eyes of web-viewers. With the use of design arts and vibrant images, a website can become easily appealing.

-Accessible. The navigation and the links on the website are obvious so you can get to the information you need easily.  This is accessible at one level.  There is also need to offer ease of use to those with disabilities (visual for example).

 -Communication. What do you want to communicate through the school and how do you want to do it? Consider the language and level the school is. Also, consider the strengths of the school and how that appeals to its audience.


With this in mind, you have expert knowledge and advice as to how to go about making sure that your school website remains relevant in its development as well as professional more importantly.
